Chairperson of Warri South Local Government Area, Mrs. Juliet Tidi, has advised children and wards in Warri South Local Government not to lose sight of their educational and career pursuit as a result of the break in the academic calendar caused by the Coronavirus pandemic.

Mrs. Tidi, who gave the advice in a message to mark this year’s children’s day, asserted that it was important for parents, guardians and other stakeholders to ensure that the right atmosphere is created for pupils and students to learn thoroughly daily, even though schools are not in session due to the challenge posed by the COVID – 19 plague.

Wife of the Warri South Chairman, Mrs. Juliet Tidi, who stressed the need for parents and the elderly in the society to allow children express their God – given talents while pursuing their educational career, opined that it was time for parents and guardians to nurture the inborn skills of children side – by – side with their academics.
