FORMER President of Delta Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (DACCIMA), Chief Moses Orogun has been installed as the new Otota (Spokesman)of Agbon Kingdom in Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State.
Performing the ceremony in his palace at Kokori, the Ovie of Agbon Kingdom,HRM Ogurimerime, Ukori JP, described the new Otota, Chief Orogun as a self made man and urged him to use his wealth of experience to assist in moving the kingdom forward.
The royal father said; ”The event of today is a great one and it is being witnessed by the six clans in the kingdom. I am so happy today that the issue of the Otota for our kingdom has been laid to rest and we now have Otota that we can call our own. Initially, Eku brought Chief Bernard Edewor as Otota but we discovered that he is not a chief from Agbon Kingdom; he is a respected Nigerian and when he was told about the situation of things, he accepted it that way.”
“Further search for Otota produced chief Moses Orogun who is also from Eku and today we are glad that we have found a perfect replacement; there is no bad blood. Chief Orogun, our new Otota is an illustrious son of Agbon Kingdom. A good businessman based in Warri,” the Ovie said.
He prayed for the new Otota to use his tenure to expand the Kingdom to enviable height, urging all and sundry to support him.
