The Centre for the vulnerable and the underprivileged, (Centrep) has hailed the emergence of Mr. Amaju Pinnick as the President of the Nigeria Footbal Federation, NFF.

The Executive Director of Centrep, Barrister Oghenejabor Ikimi stated this in a press statement made available to pressmen in Warri, yesterday.

According to the press statement; “We members of the Centre for the vulnerable and the underprivileged, (Centrep), do congratulate Mr. Melvin Amaju Pinnic on his recent election in Warri, Delta State as the President of the Nigerian Football Federation, (NFF).”
Barrister Ikimi stated that they hoped that Mr. Pinnick and his Executives with their wealth of experience would in a short space of time change the face of Nigerian Football as football administration has always being the nation’s albatross as a footballing Nation.
“In the same vein, we welcome the recognition of the Amaju Pinnic led NFF and we call on other co-contestant and the kangaroo Exco led by Mr. Giwa to sheath the sword and work with the incumbent President in the over all interest of Nigerian Football as Nigerians do not expect anything less than excellent administration from her football administrators,” he stated.
He added that the people of Warri in particular, and Delta State in general were proud of Mr. Pinnick’s achievements.
