The campaign organization of Hon. Solomon Ahwinahwi, a Member representing Ughelli/Udu Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives in a bid to share in the grief, has paid a condolence visit to the family at Ojabugbe Street, Okumagba Layout, Warri, Delta State, the residence of Mama, Chief Mrs Alice Ahwinahwi, (Nee Obanyedo).

The visit which was led by the Director General of the Organization, Barrister David Ekuetafia had other prominent Leaders of the group in attendance to commiserate with their boss, Hon Solomon Ahwinahwi and the families of Ahwinahwi of Agbarho and Okpe-Olomu in Ughelli North and South local government areas respectively on the demise of their beloved mother.

Barrister  Ekuetafia who is the Director-General of the campaign organization in his condolence message during the visit extolled the exemplary qualities and the meaningful life mama lived before passing on to glory.

While enjoining all to emulate the good life Mama lived, he urged the family particularly the children she left behind to step into the shoes of their mother who was indeed seen by those far and near  as mother of all,describing her as Mama General.

He requested the family to keep the body informed of the burial arrangements, adding that they are ready to join their Principal/boss, Hon. Solomon Ahwinawhi, to give his mother a befitting burial.

Emudia  Akponyoma also a chieftain of the campaign organization who spoke in the same vein maintained that mama will always live in the hearts of her loved ones in many years to come as evergreen memory.

Describing late Mrs. Alice Ahwinahwi as one in a million mother, Hon Samuel Omoko lamented that she died when her counsel was needed most.

Comrade Peter Egawin, the President of the youth wing of the campaign organization in his comment, asserted that, the deceased affected his life positively within the short time he knew her.

On his part, Dr. Matthew Kwode, another prominent member and Spokesman of the campaign organization emphasized the fact that, the late mother of Hon Solomon Ahwinahwi took care of all her children and nurtured them to enviable men and women in their various chosen profession.

According to him, whatever the case may be they should celebrate mama for the exemplary life she lived.

Chief Andrew Oyovwirayen, a Deputy Director General of the Campaign  Organization, and others who also spoke about the life and times of late Mrs. Alice Ahwinahwi, all concurred in their messages that, she was a mother to all who came across her.

Responding on behalf of Ahwinahwi family, the duo of the eldest son and eldest daughter, Chief Christopher Ahwinahwi and Mrs. Queen Oberiko (Nee Ahwinahwi) both expressed gratitude to the campaign organization especially the leadership of the body present.

According to them the caliber of people who paid condolence visits to the family on their mother’s death is an attestation that their mother truly touched mankind positively.

The children therefore promised to keep the campaign organization informed when it is time for the burial ceremony.

They thanked the group for the support they gave to their son, Hon Solomon Ahwinahwi during the general elections, which saw him back to the National Assembly as a member representing Ughelli/Udu Federal Constituency.
