Adagbrassa Community-Amukpe in Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State has inaugurated Seven Man Committee members who will from day to day over see the effective administration and control of that community.

Those sworn in as the new executive officers are, Hon. Lucky Odordor (Chairman) Mr. Arigo Kakitie (Vice Chairman) Emma Aligbo Akponojivi (Secretary) Comrade Godwin Ogben Otojareri (Senior Speaker) Mr. Gabriel Omokaro (Assistant Speaker) Mr. Saturday Abokwara (Treasurer) and Mr. Emperor Igho Oteme (P.R.O).

Other decision makers of the community are Papa Ball Idjerhe (Most Senior Elderly Man) Mr. Monday Otoru (Screening Committee Chairman) Mr. Daniel Kokogho (Screening Committee Secretary) Mr. Love Douglas (Screening Committee Spoke man) and Mr. Emmanuel Omonode (Member) Mr. Sunday Boyikporo (Chairman Land Committee).

Chief Hon. Godwin Edeki, a onetime People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Chairman of Sapele local government area, who was a special guest of honour at the event including the lawyer who swear the members in- Barrister Ogefere Lewell, charged the Adagbrassa-Community executive.officers to discharge their duties and responsibilities effectively and also to be selfless and never be found wanting during their tenure.

The duo advised the members that their coming in by taking the oath of office is to serve their community and that they should always leave by that guiding principle so that they can excel in their duties and responsibilities to those who chose them to serve.

Chief Hon. Edeki from Amukpe Community said he has absolute confidence in the ability of the current executive officers having known each of them for long time, assuring the public that they will represent the community very well at any level, while advising the community to always support them to help them better.

Hon. Lucky Odordor said he is very elated for his elevation to the position of the Chairman of the community as he prayed to God to give him more wisdom to lead his people to the promise land, advising his team mates to be calm and exercise patience and that they must be faithful and honest to all manners of people at all time so that there could be peace in the community.

Hon. Odordor appreciated the elders, the women and youth for standing.before them, assuring them to hope for the best at all times as their.tenure lasted assuring that they will never betray the confidence reposed on them.

Comrade Otojareri the senior spokes man of the community said in the discharge of their duties, they will be firm and selfless at all time minding the fact that they were made to serve the people but not their own self, advising the chairman to be tolerant and always consult his excos while applying democratic principles in his governance, as he also called on the Community to cooperate with the newly sworn in executive officers.

Comrade Gift Ochore, another active youth in the community and secretary PDP ward 9, said he was happy for the way  the ceremony went on smoothly, advising the new executive officers to always learn from the mistakes of those who were there before them, so that they would not make mistakes during their tenure.
