BY DR. MICHAEL TIDI

Ever since his passing on Wednesday, August 11, 2021, tributes have been pouring in torrents, and justifiably too, proclaiming Dennis immense virtues and his indelible contributions to the social, political and economic development of Warri South and Delta State.

The erstwhile Member of the Delta State House of Assembly was great in life. He is emerging surpassingly greater in death. For several years and down the ages, the life, times, leadership and politics of Dennis will continue to be a reference point, a subject of unceasing study and the undying light of his life a guide for future generations.

Truly, even in death, the man we fondly hail Eni, Egbe, Osiogboreku, Otejiri, and Unuevworo lives! For those, whose good and positive deeds live in the memories of millions of lives that they touched, never die.

I am writing this testimony as one of those who learnt at the feet of this unassuming man.

We at the Warri South Council admired him greatly, we are profoundly thankful for the legacy he left behind, and we offer our gratitude and our condolences to his wife, children, sisters, cousins, nephews, nieces and his political family.
