L-R: Car donor, Alhaji Aliyu Adamu Koguna, Fati Mohammed and Ambassador Aliyu Ibn Abbas

Ahead of the politicking for the 2019 general elections, a die-hard supporter of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has doled out a brand new car to Kannywood actress, Fati Mohammed who has pledged support to Wazirin Adamawa if he chooses to contest.

According to a statement signed by the Atiku Care Foundation North West Zonal Director Media and Publicity, Jacob Onjewu Dickson, on behalf of the foundation’s National Chairman, Ambassador Aliyu Ibn Abbas, the supporter, Alh Adamu Aliyu Koguna gave out the car to the actress, who is the North West Director Women Affairs of the Atiku Care Foundation in recognition of her commitment to Atiku’s victory.

When the car was presented to Alhaji Atiku Abubakar on Wednesday, he described the gesture as noble while test running the vehicle.

He said Nigerians are beginning to realize that no sacrifice is greater than that aimed at uplifting the common man.

“What this supporter of mine has done is noble and deserves commendation. Atiku Care Foundation is leaving its footprints in the sand of time through its service to the downtrodden in our society and within a short time, has been able to make an indelible mark,” he said.

For Atiku Care Foundation National Chairmen, the gesture was a boost to its activities as one of its executives has been motivated to do more.

“This buttresses the fact that whatever you are doing, good or bad, people are taking note.

“Hajia Fati’s efforts have been noticed and we are living witnesses to what it has attracted,” he said.

Commenting on the growing influence and recognition the foundation is receiving locally and internationally, he attributed it to hard work and the unblemished record that former Vice President built for himself.
