Excited by the items that were donated to them by the Atiku Care Foundation at the Abagana  Internally Displaced Persons  (IDPs)  Camp in Makurdi,  Benue  State,  the beneficiaries said that 2019 is a sure win for former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

Speaker  after  speaker expressed this on Saturday,  shortly after they received various items,  presented by the Chairman,  Atiku Care Foundation,  Ambassador  Aliyu Bin Abbas at the weekend.

A statement by the  spokesman of the Chairman of the Atiku Care Foundation, Okpani Jacob Onjewu Dickson, made available to newsmen in Kaduna on Monday July 9, 2018 said that the IDPs who were spotted in their thousands, received assorted items worth millions of Naira.

The items which were presented to the camp manager included; bags of rice, indomie, spaghetti, salt and detergent. Others were; flour, toiletries and water as well as other cooking condiments.

Receiving the items on behalf of the Benue State Government and the IDPs, the Camp Commandant, Mr David Teryina appreciated Atiku Care Foundation for the love shown them and promised that the materials will be put to judicious use.

He also urged the foundation to show a similar gesture to others.

Before Benue, as part of its activities to reach out to communities confronted with security and humanitarian challenges, the Atiku Care Foundation had been to Adamawa and Zamfara states recently,  where the IDPs  were presented with similar items.
