Members of the Warri Political Forum have joined other pressure groups in Delta South Senatorial district to urge Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan to contest for the Senatorial election comes 2015.

The call on the governor was a unanimous decision made at an enlarged meeting of members of the group held in Warri.

Addressing the people, the chairman Warri Political forum Honourable Omini Esquire said the call became necessary following the all round development evenly spread to the three senatorial districts of the state by Dr. Uduaghan.

He said election of the governor into the senate would enable him channel more Development to Delta South.

Other Speakers at the occasion including the Warri South transition committee Chairman Dr. Angustine Uroye, the former chairman of Warri South Honourable Mofe Edema, the state chairman, national Youth Council of Nigeria Comrade Hope George and other speakers said the two tenures of Governor Uduaghan has enabled Deltans enjoy numerous democracy dividends.

They outlined the gigantic projects of Dr. Uduaghan to include the Asaba International airport, massive training and renovating roads, reconstruction and establishment of Primary and Secondary Schools, establishment of first class hospitals and Health centres, free health programmes, scholarship schemes and the empowerment of Youths and women through the poverty alleviation directorate.

The forum called on other ethnic groups in Delta South to join in the election of the Governor to the national assembly in 2015.
