…pays condolence visit to family

The Warri South Local Government Council has commiserated with the members of God’s Kingdom Society (GKS) over the death of their President, Brother (Pa) Godwin Onukwulunjo Ifeacho.

Brother Ifeacho died on Thursday, April 22, 2021. He was aged 81.

Dr Tidi, who who was accompanied by his Vice, Mrs Divine Iniovosa and some members of his Executive to the Headquarters of GKS in Warri, said the late Ifeacho lived a fulfilled life and died in active service in the work of God.

Tidi said the news of the death of the President of GKS was devastating to the council.

He said the late Ifeacho was a God fearing man who dedicated his life to service of God.

“On behalf of my family, the Warri South council and the good people of Warri South, we are here to commiserate with you on the passage of your President, Brother (Pa) Godwin Onukwulunjo Ifeacho.

“Though we were not expecting this but only God knows why it happened. But we take solace in the fact that we will meet again in the hereafter.

“The late Brother Ifeacho dedicated his life to the service of God. He was an outspoken man who died in the Lord.

The Warri South council boss wished the members of GKS a smooth transition, urging them not to hesitate to call on the council for assistance during the funeral of their late President.

Responding on behalf of the Church, Secretary of GKS, Brother Michael Ekiseowei, who spoke on behalf of the Vice President and Acting President of God’s Kingdom Society, Brother Felix Adedokun, commended the chairman and his entourage for the condolence visit.

He said the late Ifeacho joined GKS at the age of 21 and died at the age of 81, adding that he died in active service.

He said, “We want to thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to come and commiserate with us on the death of our President.

“It took us a long time get used to the fact that he was gone. It was not until I started writing late Brother Ifeacho in most of our letters that it dawn on me that he has really gone.

“However, we take solace in the fact that we are going to meet in the next life.

“Brother Ifeacho was a good man. He lived a life devoured of any controversy.

He announced that the date for the burial of late Ifeacho has been fixed for 12th June 2021 at Salem City, Headquarters of GKS, Warri, Delta State.

The Warri South council boss and his entourage also paid a condolence visit to the immediate family of the late president of the GKS, where he met with his wife and daughter and other members of the family.
