The People of Ughelli South PDP have Passed a vote of confidence on the Delta State Governor, Senator, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa and at the same time adopted a onetime minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Kenneth Ggbagi, as their Leader.

Gbagi in his acceptance sspeech vowed to establish proper zoning system as maintained by PDP to enthrone true democracy in his own constituency in Ughelli south local Government area of Delta State.

Earlier, he had made it clear in his welcome address at a stake holders meeting  in his country home that charity begins at home, hence he wants to ensure he does the right thing at the right time as required in his home town .

He promised the youth that the era where an elder will just sit down at home and write names of their children for position has gone.

He promised to ensure that as a leader of Ughelli south local government, he will extend the fellowship of true democracy to all nonooks and cranny  of the local government, vowing to visit all leaders in the local government to ensure unity of purpose in the forth coming election.

Gbagi also advised that all wards in the local government should go ahead to nominate their local government representatives for the next congress.

Comr. Ubrurhe Joseph Oke who hails from Arhavwarien kingdom of Ughelli south while addressing, the press said the youths are in full support of Gbagi and are in line with his action, promising to throw their weight behind him.

Comrade Oke also commended Chief Kenneth Gbagi on his giant strides in pulling forces together in Ughelli south for a common purpose of unity in the party.
