His Excellency, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan

Dr Michael Tidi, Chairman of Warri South Local Government Council,
on Friday, congratulated the former governor of Delta State, His Excellency, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan, as he clocked 67 years.

Tidi’s felicitation was conveyed in a statement by his Special Assistant on Media, Mr Francis Sadhere.

He commended Uduaghan for his sterling contributions to the growth and development of Delta State while he was the governor of the state.

The Warri South council boss commended Uduaghan for given his all to create peace, tranquility and progress for his people and the Niger-Delta region as a whole.

He congratulated Uduaghan for his visionary and pragmatic governance, which are still still felt in the state till date.

Tidi said that it was heartwarming to note that Uduaghan had through hard work, discipline and a masterfully conceived vision won the admiration and respect of Delta State people and the nation.

“On behalf of my family and the good people of Warri South council area, I heartily rejoice with a man of peace, a seasoned administrator and former governor of Delta State, His Excellency, Dr Emmanuel Ewetan Uduaghan, as he turns 67 years today.

“It is our prayer that God will continue to protect you and grant you good health to render more services to your state and mankind.

“For eight years that you were at the helm of affairs of Delta State, the state experienced massive development in all the sectors. Your achievements are endless.

“You succeeded in turning the fortunes of the state around with the available resources. Your developmental strides speak volumes. Most of your legacies are still being enjoyed in the state presently.

“Your influence and popularity were not earned through a walk in the park, rather by the dint of your determination to make your people happy.

“Your story is a very loaded one, you development efforts also extended to the Niger Delta region even though you were the governor of a state. During your administration, you were deeply involved in negotiations with Niger Delta agitators and militants alike which led to peace in the region,” Tidi said.
