Chairmanship of Warri South Council Area, Dr Michael Tidi, has sent this warm felicitations to the wife of the Delta State Governor, Dame Edith Okowa, on the occasion of her 60th birthday.

Tidi, in his verified Facebook page, described Dame Okowa as a professional and diligent woman.

“As a career civil servant who rose to the top echelon of Permanent Secretary, your professionalism and diligence are reference point to serving civil servants.

“Equally worthy of mentioning is the staying power of your pet project, the 05 Initiative. Its deepening commitment to the downtrodden while assisting to solve the myriad of challenges we face as a people, attests to your selflessness and commitment.

“At 60, we respectfully enjoin you like Albert Einstein did, ‘Do not grow old, no matter how long you live.

“We pray for continued God’s guidance and more of your service to humanity, Delta and our country.
