While we heartily Congratulate President Muhammadu Buhari over his well-deserved victory at the just concluded 2019 Presidential election, the INEC-announced victory has officially put to an end, all the brouhaha, noise and bickering about Buhari this and Buhari that stories by some persons, who have refused to logically see the good the man is trying to achieve in the country. This includes those behind the useless rumours of Buhari failures at the Presidential polls, who obviously have been proved wrong that what God has put in place can’t be changed by any man.

In my own view, I still strongly believe that President Buhari means well for this country, regardless of his own personal faults, which we all have, or the circumstances surrounding his Presidency. We have made it clear that those actually war and fight against President Muhammadu Buhari and his administration from all angles, are doing so, not necessarily because they want to bring about any concrete change in the polity that would positively impact the lives and living standards of the common masses, as they often claim, but rather, they are doing so primarily because they want to always have unrestricted/unrestrained access to the collective wealth of the country, which they want to continue to keep within and share amongst their families, friends, close aides and cliques. And as such, their intention is to put and keep the country, specifically the common masses, in perpetual abject poverty and penury.

In other words, these group of people are not against President Buhari because they really want the good of Nigerians, but they are doing so for themselves. The evident desperation of these group of persons, especially before and during the just concluded Presidential election, is evident of this fact. They have made it known that they are ready to go to any length and do whatever it takes for them to find their way to the top political leadership of the country, and from there ‘maintain the status quo’ – which is only in their favour but to the detriment of the Nigerian people. But we thank God that they did not succeed at the Presidential polls. For if they did, Nigerians should be rest assured that the country is doomed, especially in few months to come.

These political desperados and gluttonous wolves in sheeps clothing, have done all they could to grab political power by all means. We saw this before and during the just concluded elections. Right from when they started with their ‘Dollar Rain’, to them coming up daily with one propaganda or the other just to make President Buhari and his administration look bad in the eyes of Nigerians. Even when the election results were trickling in from different parts of the country, and it was becoming clear that the Buhari APC-led Government is winning, these desperate politicians of the PDP started a false rumour that the Atiku PDP-led wing was the one winning. And all of this was done without any concrete facts and figures to justify their claim.

When someone exhibits such ‘desperation’ to grab political power, that should send a signal to all that this person is not really out to do Nigerians good in Government. But he is only out to satisfy his personal agenda.

These group of politically exposed persons that are sadly, mostly of the opposition PDP, have carried different kinds of plot just to ‘discredit Buhari’s administration’ and turn the Nigerian people against him. From the killings by obviously trained and sponsored militias falsely dubbed “Fulani Herdsmen”, plans to ‘rig out Buhari through stuffed ballots and Electoral malpractices (which were recorded in different Polling Centers across the country), to plan to allegedly ’cause chaos and incite civil unrest if Buhari wins’. And that is why they started their pre-election false accusations that President Buhari wants to rig the election, even when all evidences show and point at them as historical riggers who have not repented, nor shown any aversion to rigging.

Like we have stated in past articles, there are only two tribes in Nigeria, the super rich elites that are mostly in politics to continue to reap/steal our collective wealth, and the general common masses whom these political elites have continued to keep in poverty and penury. That is why tribalism and religious sentiments are nothing but ‘artificial problems’ created by these selfish political leaders for their own personal and selfish interests.

What does all of this tell us, that there are indeed a political class whose trade and stock is to continue to impoverish the Nigerian people and keep the wealth of the nation amongst themselves, families, friends and close allies. And the best way for them to achieve this is to grab ‘political power’ by all means necessary. This is very evident in their ‘desperation moves’ in recent months that led to the concluded Presidential election. But on the other hand, we have another set of political leaders like President Buhari, who has not demonstrated such desperation for political power, and has even let go of half of his salary as President, just to demonstrate his willingness to bring himself low to the point of the common masses and share with their pains in an economy that was bastardized for 16 years of the PDP Government, which cannot miraculously be healed within four years.

This is why we thank God that President Muhammadu Buhari has been given another four years by majority of Nigerians, with his victory at the Presidential election. All that we ask at this point is that Nigerians should pray and support the Buhari administration, for he really means well for the country. And we also appeal and advise the PDP Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, to accept the outcome of the Presidential results as announced by INEC, and if he has any grievances with the results, such should be channeled to the appropriate law courts instead of resorting to anything that would incite violence.
