The Delta State Director of Mobilisation of the PDP Presidential Campaign Organisation, Chief Nkem Okwuofu, has admonished Deltans of voting age to vote for all PDP candidates in the forthcoming general elections.

Chief Okwuofu, who gave the advice in an interview yesterday, explained that PDP as a national party was not in alliance with Accord Party in the state with regard to the Delta North Senatorial contest.

She explained that the clarification had become necessary to set straight the records and to avoid misinformation and falsehood.

Okwuofu remarked that Barrister Peter Nwaoboshi remains the choice candidate of the people who should be voted for by the people of Delta North to represent them in the senate in the next political dispensation.

She gave reasons why Chief Nwaoboshi should be given the mandate to go for the senate, saying that as an illustrious son of Anioma he fought tireslessly through the equity movement to ensure that Delta North produced the PDP governorship candidate against all odds.

According to her, Nwaoboshi was not only tested and trusted loyal party man, he had worked for the success of the party, adding that the party followership should rise up to the challenge of securing victory for him in the elections.

She maintained that a pioneer state secretary and immediate past  state chairman of the party, Nwaoboshi restored order, discipline and decorum to the party, saying that cohesion of the party helped in boosting the electoral fortunes of the party in the past elections.

Okwuofu particularly noted that Chief Nwaoboshi had contributed more than any other party man in promoting the ideals of the party insisting therefore that he should be celebrated and honoured with the senatorial ticket for all that he had done for the party since 1998 in the state.
