A woman simply identified as Ms. Onajite was apprehended by men of the Ughelli Police ‘A’ division for allegedly biting her fiancé’s manhood.

Inspector-General of Police, Suleiman Abba.

It was gathered that the woman who works as a peace ambassador for a renowned non-governmental organization (names withheld) descended on her fiancé after a misunderstanding ensued between them.

Trouble started when the woman met her husband to be, an okada rider, at the popular Post Office Roundabout in the Ughelli metropolis and demanded refund of N15, 000 balance of the money she assisted him with for the purchase of  a motorcycle.

Sources said the argument degenerated into a rowdy scene when the man in a bid to escape from show of shame forcefully pushed the woman and landed her on the ground and took to his heels.

An eye witness who narrated the incident on the condition of anonymity said: “Immediately, the woman started shouting “thief! thief!! thief!!!” and attracted the mob which beat the man to the state of coma after which the woman bit him on his manhood.”

The eye witness said police officers on routine patrol dispersed the crowd and took Ms.  Onajite away in handcuffs while Sparco was rushed to unknown hospital for treatment.

Efforts to reach the Divisional Police Officer in charge of the division proved abortive as at press time, but a senior police officer in the division confirmed the incident.
