The Edo chapter of the People Democratic Party has insisted that ex- governor of the states comrade Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole has put the state in several debt with his misappropriation of the state funds.

speaking to journalist in a press conference yesterday the state chairman of the party chief Dan Orbih said in all the persons who bore the pains most were the people of the state when he said.

“I want to appreciate majority of Edo people for being able to put up with Oshiomhole eight year which has brought more of pain to the people of the state.

For me  oshiomhole’s two term was “eight years of misappropriation of the commonwealth of the Edo people. It is worthy of note that oshiomhole left the office far richer than any Edo man compare to what he was in his NLC days before he became the Governor of this great State of ours, what this means is that Oshiomhole left the state poorer than he meant the state in 2008”.

The chairman lambast the former governor over the state debt profile during his administration when he reveal that  Oshiomhole in his eight years got over a trillion naira as allocations from the federal government along side internal generated revenue while he borrowing over three hundred billion naira which has resulted to Edo being place as one of three most indebted state amongs the thirty six state of the federation.
