ON THE OBVIOUSLY RIGGED DELTA STATE GOVERNORSHIP ELECTION
It has become evidently clear to all well-meaning Deltans that you, as the soon-to-be-outgoing Governor of Delta State, covertly misappropriated Delta State finance to practically rig the Delta State Governorship election held on Saturday April 11, 2015 in favor of Sen. Ifeanyi Okowa of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and get him into the Delta State Government House come May 2015. It is quite unfortunate that Delta State has been under the ‘Political Slavery’ of the ruling PDP since 1999 till date. The former Delta State Governor James Ibori is still dictating the political affairs of Delta State from his UK prison with the stolen wealth of the State and of course, with the cooperation of his cousin Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan and the PDP Cabals which include Senator Okowa and his Ijaw links. They have been misgoverning and running the affairs of Delta State as if the State is owned by them.

From every indication, Okowa colluded with you, Governor Uduaghan as his god-father to steal the political mandate of Deltans in the just concluded Saturday April 11, 2015 Governorship election in the State. The PDP-led Government in Delta State has been using the State’s public funds to ‘progressively manipulate’ their way to remain in government circles one way or the other. The question is, how much was Uduaghan worth before joining Government in 1999? And how much does he worth now as he prepares to leave Delta State Government House? You cannot deceive God or even well-meaning Deltans with those frivolous Thanksgiving Services often given after the votes and the peoples’ mandates have been stolen.
The ruling PDP in Delta State and their machinations have made sure that we do not experience free and fair election in Delta State right from 1999 till date. They have always found a way to collaborate with compromised INEC officials concerned in every election, to manipulate election results in their favor by inflating votes casts, especially in the rural villages and riverine areas, to favor their preffered candidate. This was exactly what they did in Saturday’s Governorship and State Assembly elections in Delta State. We have called for the outright cancellation of the Governorship election in Delta State, and request for a by-election in the entire State to determine the ‘real people’s choice’ of who they want as their next governor.
We also call on INEC and the Independent Observers including the foreign Media like CNN, Sky News and the BBC to thoroughly investigate this issue by going to all the remote villages in Delta State (especially those rural villages and in the riverine areas) to see for themselves if the bulk and manipulated number of voters and votes cast actually in the Governorship election corresponds with the real population in these places. They will be surprised with the results; this we can guarantee them.

The truth is that Deltans are not fooled by all the gimmicks and manipulative tendencies of the ruling PDP in the State throughout all these years. Life has a way of making us pay for every ill-advised and ill-conceived actions we have committed against the people in our place of service. And trust me; you, Governor Uduaghan and your PDP supporters will ‘answer all’ the wrong doings you all have committed against this State at the appropriate time. You and your PDP Cabals have used Delta State public funds as if the money belongs to you and your family and your political friends/supporters. Your cousin James Ibori is already paying dearly for his actions and inactions while he was in Government, and one day you and Senator Okowa will surely answer the big question.
We all know that the reason for rigging Okowa into Government House is to cover up all your misdeeds while in Government. But The Truth can never be hidden forever. Chief Great Ogboru and O’tega Emerhor cannot succumb to covering up public thieves; hence the governorship election in Delta State went the fraudulent way it went. The PDP has become an ‘obstacle’ to the progress of Democracy in Delta State since 1999. We sincerely pray that new Federal Government under Gen. Muhammadu Buhari will rescue and free us Deltans from this political slavery.
Senator Okowa on the other hand, has been in Government for 16 years with Governor Uduaghan’s ex-convict cousin James Ibori. We are very sure that the President-elect Gen. Muhammadu Buhari will soon come after these public thieves one after the other. There will be no more dilly-dallying in election tribunal cases like it were under the PDP-led Federal Government by President Goodluck Jonathan. Buhari will teach them a lesson of their lives. Nemeses have a way of catching up with people and pay them back squally.
The two obvious opposition governorship candidate in the just concluded Gubernatorial election in Delta State; Ogboru of the Labour Party and Emerhor of the All Progressive Congress (APC), are too clean for the PDP-Public-Service-Thieves in Delta State to accommodate and make them play their game. Hence, the PDP led government rigged the election the way they did. However, many days, they say is for the thief, but one day is for the owner. The cries of Deltans who want liberation from the wicked and evil non-performing tenures of the PDP in Delta State will surely be answered one day.
The generality of the masses in Delta State are sad and are praying to God to liberate them from the hands of the PDP-led government thieves in Delta State. If you are very observant, you would realize that there are no celebration of the ‘stolen victory’ of Delta State Government by Okowa and his god-father Uduaghan. When Buhari won the ruling PDP at the Federal level, the ovation was very high across the nation and even overseas and it has remained so up till now. Simply because Buhari’s election was generally acceptable by all, as he, not only won genuinely but also loved by the Nigerian people. The opposite is the case with the PDP-led Government and Okowa in the just concluded Delta State Governorship election. Nothing is hidden under the sun for long; it will only take time for the perpetrators of the peoples’ stolen mandate and the State’s public funds to be exposed.
