Blessing Okagbare

AN All Progressives Congress (APC) aspirant for Delta Central Senatorial District bye- election, Olorogun O’tega Emerhor has congratulated Delta State-born, athlete Blessing Okagbare for doing Urhobos in particular and Delta State in general proud in Moscow.

The Sapele-born athlete, Blessing Okagbare, on Friday in far away Moscow, made Nigeria proud by winning another medal  to bring her haul to two in the 14^th edition of the IAAF world championships.

Commenting on the performance of Blessing Okagbare, Olorogun Emerhor said; “I am proud of her; she should be celebrated by all Nigerians. I want to tell our daughter, Blessing Okagbare, that the people of Delta Central Senatorial district are proud of her, she has brought pride to the district”.

According to the Senatorial hopeful; “We will do everything to encourage her. Two medals in the world championships is worth celebrating and this is why I am joining other Nigerians to congratulate her and to let her know that she is indeed a blessing to the Urhobo nation and we are not going to disappoint her.  We will give her the needed encouragement.”

Olorogun Emerhor said that when elected as a Senator to represent the district in the forthcoming bye- election, he will encourage sporting activities in the district so that more talents like Blessing Okagbare can be discovered.
