imagesThe registration of the All Progressives Congress (APC) by INEC has excited Nigerians, describing it as a welcome development to the growth of democracy in the country. Reacting to the registration of the party in Warri, former Delta State

Education Commissioner, Dr. (Mrs.) Veronica Ogbuagu said that; “All of us in APC are so happy over the registration of the party. The registration of APC for us is a good development for Nigeria.  I do not know what they would have plunged the country into if the party was not registered by INEC. We have been waiting for this good news and now that it has been registered, we have to work very hard for the success of the party, especially here in Delta State.”

On his part, the Deputy Director General, Ewherido Campaign Organization, Olorogun Adelabu Ejiroghene Bodjor said; “the registration of APC is a dawn of a new political era in Nigeria. The
party will sweep away all retrogressive forces in the country. We are elated for the registration of the party; this is the time to move this country forward.”

Also commenting on the registration of the party, the National Coordinator, South South Elements Progressive Union (SSEPU) and a member of PDP, Mr. Joe Ambakederemo held; “It is a good development. We want a robust democracy. It is a good development for our democracy and as a member of PDP we welcome APC to our fold.”

A commentator on national issues, Chief Bobson Gbinije said; “This is great and good development for our democracy. Nigerians should rejoice at it. INEC’s registration of APC is a political legerdemain and masterstroke that will affect the dynamics and permutations of the
2015 elections. We hope APC will justify this great stride by effective political, socio-economic spectrum. .
