The people of Isoko North and South Federal Constituency have recently expressed optimism on the commencement of work on the 26.5km Isoko Ring Road project as officials of the Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs handed over the contract to the contractor, Fame Midway Engineering Construction Limited.

The Isoko Ring Road project which traverses from Ofagbe, Orie, Okpe-Isoko, Uro, Ada with a spur to Idheze to Ozoro was influenced by Reps Minority Leader, Rt Hon. Leo Ogor and was approved by the Federal Executive Council in May, 2015.

Mr Rony Karem who spoke on behalf of Fame Midway Company said the contract is expected to be completed within 2 years and also promised to move to site as soon as possible.

The handing over ceremony which took place at Ala Square in Ozoro was witnessed by the representative of the Permanent Secretary, MNDA Engr. Shalom, Prince Godwin Ogorugba SA to the Minority Leader, House of Reps & Chairman People Democratic Party Isoko North Chapter, Hon Dennis Obrogo Secretary Isoko South LGA, Hon. Jerry Obi. Com. Nelson Egware, SA to the Delta State Governor on Media among others.
