NAS leader with the medical team on arrival at Orere-Uluba community

Orere-Iluba Community leader in Warri South LGA of Delta State, Mr Dere Buwaghan, has stated that the recently executed medical mission by the National Association of Seadogs (Pyrates Confraternity) is a life changing gesture for them and the neighboring communities.

Speaking at the close of the ceremony in the riverine community Mr. Buwaghan charged other organisation to emulate the NAS gesture as it the first of its kind in the history of the community.

Speaking at the event, the National Leader of NAS Mr. Abiola Awoade said it is one of their basic principles to bring succor to a most vulnerable people and community within the area of operation.

The Delta State Co-coordinator of NAS, Mr. Misan Ukubeyinje stated that since Government alone cannot provide all the basic needs, other well to do individuals must intervene to fill the lacuna for the benefits of the down-trodden.

In his contribution, the host NAS leader of XKRAVOS (Warri) deck, Engineer Bawo Edema charged the beneficiaries to always attend to their health issues seriously by regularly going to the health centers to check their health as wealth.

He tasked those referred to bigger Hospital to do a follow-up on their selves even as he thanked them for their support and cooperation that made the NAS medical out-reach a huge success.

NAS provided free Medical services to over 3 riverine communities in the area of eye test/glasses, prostrate test/ treatment, drugs, fever/malaria/typhoid, free Mosquito treated net and so on.
