…As Omega Baptist Church clocks 10

The Head (Provincial Pastor) Redeem Christian Church of God,  6, Pastor Julius Fola Olalekan has said that man need the
mercy of God to overcome every obstacle on his way to success.

Pastor Olalekan stated this in his sermon titled, “The Magnified
Mercy” during the 10th Anniversary celebration service of the Omega Baptist Church, Abraka which took place at the church’s auditorium.

Pastor Segun Akinwale who represented Pastor Olalekan read from
Hebrews 4:16 and admonished the congregation to embrace the mercies of God stating that “when mercy is at work, judgement will keep quiet”.

He encouraged christans to seek the mercies of God continually.
Speaking at the occasion, the President, Ethiope Delta Baptist
Conference, the Rev’d Dr. Jonathan O. Ihwighwu congratulated Omega Baptist Church, Abraka family even as he prayed God for the growth of the church from strength to strength, adding that building for God creates room for expansion and blessing.

He therefore advised the members to lead life that is holy and
pleasing to God always.

Also speaking, the chief host Pastor (Chaplain) Godwin Omegwe,
Undershepherd of Omega Baptist Church, Abraka acknowledged God’s divine influence in all that they do and the active role and power of the Holy Spirit in every of their steps.

He urged everyone to be conscious of the greatest servant leader in
history,  Jesus Christ the Saviour as they move forward in 2016 and
beyond, fulfilling their dreams saying that Omega Baptist Church,
Abraka is a place where the spiritually and physically wounded, hurt, injured and brokenhearted find healing.

Pastor Omegwe also paid glowing tributes to the Provincial Pastor
RCCG, Delta Province 6 Pastor Julius Olalekan who was instrumental to the acquisition of the permanent site of the church in Abraka even as he appealed to all to be part of the building project.

Dignitaries present at the occasion include; the Rev’d Blessing
Onokpoberuo (Jp) moderator, Abraka Baptist Association (ABA) , Rev’d Improvised Ogheneroro, Pastor Alex Umunadi, Pastor Timothy Ideh of the Apostolic Mission Incorporated amongst other notable men of God.
