A mad woman in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State Capital has allegedly lost her eyes to ritualists said to be on prowl in the city with worried Bayelsans calling on the State Government to strengthen security in the state.

Sources alleged that ritualists plucked out the eyes of the mad woman at the Swali Market axis in Yenagoa.

It was gathered that the mad woman suffered in the hands of ritualists just outside the Swali Market on Monday, March 31^st 2014.

Reacting to the development, residents of Yenagoa called on the state government to strengthen security, just as they also appealed to the government to build a mental asylum for the mentally derailed people who are walking about the streets of Yenagoa and other Local Government Areas without restriction.

Some traders at the Swali Market who spoke to our correspondent lamented the horrendous incident.

They  also called on families of the various lunatics in the state, especially Yenagoa, to house their various lunatics before they fall prey to ritualists.

They advised parents to keep close watch on their young ones as no one knows what may happen next after the ugly incident of the mad woman.
