LEADERSHIP CRISIS IN DICF: MEMBERS DISTANCE THEMSELVES FROM CHAIRMAN, SECRETARY
A leadership crisis has rocked the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC) Indigenous Contractors Forum (DICF), as members publicly disassociate themselves from the Forum’s Chairman, Engr. Ogie Samson Oritsebemigho, and Secretary, Prince Charles Ebigbagha.
In a notice of dissociation and disclaimer released to the public, members accused the duo of engaging in activities detrimental to the Forum’s objectives and reputation. The notice further announced their immediate suspension, emphasizing that their actions were personal and lacked the endorsement of the forum.
Describing the situation as abysmal and betrayal of trust, the members reiterated their commitment to working in harmony with the state oil interventionist agency and ensuring that the forum’s integrity remains intact. Stakeholders have been advised the general public to disregard any claims made by the suspended officials.
The development signals a strong move by members to protect the Forum from further reputational damage and foster accountability and transparency.
