Party stalwart of The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Isoko South and North has vowed to mobilize their people to give 100 percent votes to all PDP candidates in the State and Federal level in the general elections scheduled to hold in February.

This assertion was made at Nortre Dame College, Ozoro, headquarters of Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State, venue of Rt. Hon. Leo Ogor’s kick off campaign to represent the Isoko Nation in the Federal House of Representatives.

In their separate speeches at the occasion, the candidates who dressed gorgeously in their native attires accompanied by their teaming supporters of men, women, youths in different PDP attires amongst various dance groups described the Large turnout of the people as clear evidence of the preparedness and support of the Isoko Nation to the party adding that, the area has been known over the years as a PDP zone stressing that, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan’s re-election and Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa’s Guber ticket is a project of Isoko PDP.

The candidates in their numbers, Rt. Hon. Leo Ogor Okuweh Deputy Majority Leader, Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Barr. Tim Kome Owhefere, DTHA Isoko North, Prince Johnson Erijo, Isoko South II DTHA and Dame (Mrs.) Orezi Esievo for Isoko South I, DTHA had in unison sought the People’s mandate to enable their dream come true which according to them is for accelerated and sustainable development of Isoko Nation and for the betterment of all.

Rt. Hon. Leo Ogor noted that, his going back to the green chamber is to better the life of the people and to give the Isoko Nation a voice in the floor. He assured the Isoko Nation of victory for the PDP just as he described the re-election of Jonathan advantageous to Isoko Nation while he referred to Okowa as a man full of integrity that everyone can work with.

Also speaking, Comr. Ovuzourie Macaulay urged all party faithful not to engage in any nefarious schemes outside the party’s activities so as to enable all the candidates running under the PDP record land slide victory in the State.

Others who spoke at the occasion included, Hon. Solomon Ogba, Sen. James Manager, Sir Simeon Efenudu, Hon. Tutumor Daniel, Chief Eneruvie Obi, Hon. Emmanuel Egbabor and Sir Itiakor Malik Ikpokpo amongst others.
