IPF members at the Thanksgiving service.

A political group in Isoko North under the auspices of Isoko Patriotic Front  yesterday held a Thanksgiving service at St Mary’s Anglican Church, Bethel to celebrate God’s blessing on their members.

The thanksgiving service which coincided with the child dedication of one of its member, Hon Elo Ekodi, was a continuation of its proposed thanksgiving to all the PDP Wards in Isoko North Constituency.

Speaking during the thanksgiving service, the Chairman of the group, Hon Daniel Tutumor noted that, the thanksgiving is in line with the directive of the group to thank God in the 13 PDP Ward that made up the Isoko North Constituency.

He said the Thanksgiving service was done as a result of God’s numerous blessings upon every  members of the group, the Patron, Hon Mike Ogwah, and leaders, Comr Ovuzourie Macaulay and Hon Leo Ogor.

He recalled how one of its members, Chief Itiveh was shot by unknown gunmen who was healed by God and other God’s numerous upliftments which every member of the group including their political leader, Comr. Ovuzuorie Macaulay, the patron Hon. Mike Ogwah, has enjoyed in time past and now,  describing his healing and others  numerous favour as divine work of God almighty.

On his part, the Vicar of the Church, Revd G.A. Ekpoh, noted that, thanksgiving is an application to God for more blessings, adding that “when you thanks God, He will fight all your battles for you.

“I am so happy today because today is our end of month thanksgiving as it coincided with you thanksgiving. This shows that, God is pleased with all your doings. I urged you all to maintain this act of IPF as it will prompt God to do more in your lives”.

He also lamented the shortage of staffs and poor service being experienced by pregnant women in the Bethel Maternity and however on behalf of the Bethel community pleaded with the Isoko North Local Government chairman, Hon Emmanuel Egbabor to bring resident staffs to the Bethel Maternity, in order to improve the healthy lives of pregnant women in the community.
