The Managing Director/CEO of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC), Bashorun Askia Ogieh FCNA, CrFA, has assured the oil and gas bearing ethnic nationalities in the state, that the Commission will execute all its projects, without abandonment.

Bashorun Ogieh gave the charge during the supervision of projects, at the Engineering Faculty of the Delta State University (DELSU), Oleh Campus, alongside the President General of Isoko Development Union (IDU), High Chief Idu Amadhe.

He intimated that the Commission has put modalities in place, to make sure host communities will experience massive and significant development of model infrastructure projects across the ethnic nationalities, in the mandate areas of DESOPADEC.

Speaking during the inspection, the IDU President General, High Chief Idu Amadhe described the DESOPADEC boss, as an experienced and detribalized politician who has properly keyed into the stronger Delta mantra of His Excellency Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa.

He also called on the youths to work hand in hand with the DESOPADEC Team, assuring that host communities will experience the delivery of massive projects across the ethnic nationalities without abandonment.

In his words, “The UDU of Isoko land, my words are not enough to describe your contributions to building a Stronger Delta. Indeed You have proven your worth to your constituents and people.”
