The Dr. Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan administration has initiated various investment opportunities and incentives to attract investors to the State.

The Economic Adviser to the Governor, Ogbueshi Afam Obiago made this assertion in an interactive/fact finding forum organized by his office for the Delta State Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (DACCIMA) and the Nigerian/German Business Association in Asaba.

Afam Obiago said the meeting was an avenue for the DACCIMA and Delta State businessmen to interface with Nigerian/German Business Association on mutually beneficial relationship.
Mr. Andre Ronne, the leader of the delegation and Delegate of German Industry and Commerce West Africa, while responding, said that German investors are desirous in investing in Delta State especially in small and medium scale enterprises.
He said key among their mission is to know about the investment opportunities in the State and activate partnership with German Investors, the Organized Private Sector as well as the Delta State Government.
He stated that they will assist in the area of networking and ensure that German investors are attracted to partner with DACCIMA in investing in the State.
The DACCIMA President, Chief Simon Asite in his reaction promised to partner with the Nigerian/German Business Association in sourcing for investors in areas of renewable energy, agro processing and revitalization of ailing industries, even as he expressed appreciation to the Economic Adviser for organizing the forum.
Earlier the Economic Adviser, Ogbueshi Afam Obiago led the delegation on a courtesy visit to the Honourable Commissioner, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Dr. Chris Ekiyor
Dr. Chris Ekiyor while receiving the delegation stated that the Delta State Government is desirous in partnering with investors in actualizing its goal of Delta beyond oil.
Mr. Andre Ronne the leader of the delegation and Delegate of German Industry and Commerce West Africa on his part said that he was impressed with the establishment of the Delta State One Stop Shop for Investors (DSOSSI) as it will not only provide the necessary information on investment but act as a catalyst for attracting investors to the State.
He stated that over 400 companies are members of the Nigerian/German Business Association.
