GOVERNOR GODWIN OBASEKI TAKING OATH OF OFFICE SIDE WITH HIS WIFE.

The newest Governor in in town,His Excellency,Godwin Obaseki,the Edo State Governor, has reaffirmed his commitment to make Edo Agricultural Business hub in Nigeria.

He made the declaration during his inauguration ceremony on Saturday as the elected Governor of the state at the Samuel Ogbemudia stadium in Benin City

Mr Obaseki who was declared winner of the keenly contested Edo gubernatorial Election held September 20, 2016 against his closest rival and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party,  PDP, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu vowed to make Edo the nation’s Hub of Agribusiness in the coming years in office as part of his campaign promises to create two hundred thousand jobs for his people.

“The next four years is signed and sealed. The tasks is not Government Alone but all of us. like we promised during our electioneering campaign, we said we would create two hundred thousand jobs for our people. I want to reaffirm that as our position. we would make Agriculture a business in the state to make Edo the hub and a dream state. I want to thank my mentor and leader, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole for his support through out the campaigns. I assure you we would build and extend on his legacy” he remarked

He However, thanked the out-gone Governor, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole for his goodwill to see Edo progressed in its developmental stride while assuring to build and extend on his legacy.
