FERMAThe Federal road maintenance agency (FERMA) in Bayelsa State has taken a new dimension in the maintenance of dilapidated Roads in Yenagoa metropolis.

This was disclosed to newsmen by FERMA boss in Bayelsa state, Engr. Abrahim Mohammed while  answering  questions from  newsmen penultimate Friday in opposite  government house Yenagoa, while the agency was repairing damaged portions of the road along government house axis which have been so bad for quiet some .

Engr A. Mohammed said, to enhance befitting out look of Bayelsa State Government house, the agency deem fit for the repairs of the road which he said was very timely.

For challenges of execution of projects, FERMA boss highlighted that rain was their barrier, incessant rainfall now retarding the work execution, more so, inadequate asphalts, getting enough asphalts is another problem.

The renowned engineer tasks the public to away maintain government facilities in their vicinities, stressing that FERMA would use the available resources in improving the major roads in Bayelsa state in complementing the activities of the state government.

Also, he enumerated several achievements of the Agencies in Bayelsa State under his able leadership, which includes repairs of several roads in Yenagoa and its environs.

While commending the Bayelsa state government for its massive construction works going on in the state.
