Ekru – Ogboje Quarters of Owhelogbo in Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State have completed its town hall project of four years with credit to the Secretary to the State Government Comr. Ovuozourie Macaulay.

Speaking at an event specially organized by the quarter to celebrate the successful completion of the town hall, the Odio-Ologbo and his vice, Pa Agadaigho Okpukoko and Pa Festus Ena respectively appreciated God for the successful completion of the Hall. They disclosed that the Hall whose foundation was laid in early 2011 witnessed so many challenges until the likes of Comr. Ovuozourie Macaulay, Hon. Sunday Agbewe, Mr. Taye Okorocha, Mr. Patrick Okoro, Chief Columbus Abada, Chief Ovie Oghole, and Prince John Agadie stepped in.

According to Pa Okpukoko “now that the hall is completed and ready for use, I want everyone who is a true son and daughter of this quarter to jealously guide against any form of vandalism so that the town hall can serve the purpose of which it was built.”

He also seized the opportunity to advise the youths to embrace family meetings, emulate good character traits from their elders, and have respect for their leaders, laid down rules and authority. He said as leaders of tomorrow, the youths are expected to follow the part of peace, success and development in all ramifications.

On his part The Oletu, Obire Samuel said “This Hall is built to accommodate the entire Ogboje Community whenever there are issues to deliberate upon, salient issues of communal interest and any other functions of meaningful gathering”

Meanwhile, Ekru-Ogboje Community through its spokesman. Mr. Sunday Edewar acknowledged Hon. Sunday Agbewe, Mr. Taye Okorocha, Mr. Patrick Okoro, Chief Columbus Abada, Chief Ovie Oghole, and Prince John Agadie amongst others for contributing financially and materially to the building of the Hall praying God to bless and give them long life to enjoy the fruits of their labours.

The leadership of Owhelogbo Community Development Union under Prince Simon Enajedu was also commended for numerous infrastructural developments while the former Odio kauru, Masione Orokuano and his team received commendation as well.
