The immediate past governor is Delta State, Dr Emmanuel Ewetan Uduaghan has congratulated Team Delta, winner is the Edo 2020 National Sports Festival held in Benin city, Edo.

The former governor congratulated Team Delta in his verified Facebook page monitored by our Correspondent in Warri.

The Facebook post reads “I congratulate Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and the ever passionate sports-loving people of Delta State on our recent feat at the 20th edition of the National Sports Festival which ended yesterday in Benin City, with Team Delta at the zenith of the medals’ table.

“With this Edo 2020 win, Delta State has continued its dominance in the National Sports Festival: previously winning KADA 2009 and Eko 2012.

“God bless the state contingent always making us proud as we look forward to the next edition. Hopefully, Team Delta will bring home all the medals.
