Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC) has commissioned multi-billion naira completed projects in Koko, headquarters of Warri North Local Government Area under the Dr. Emmanuel Uduagha led administration.

Hon. Michael Diden a.k.a Ejele, Commissioner representing Itsekiri Ethnic nationality on the Board of the Commission did the inauguration on behalf of Mr. Oritsuwa Kpogho, Chairman of the Commission.

A N1 billion multipurpose dredger; N200 million worth Games village, N80 million Oxygen generating plant, N80 million 800metre road, N60 million 4units of two bedroom, were among the projects commissioned.

According to Hon. Diden, “before the budget, we called a meeting of all the communities to discuss what their priorities were, they spoke and we put them in the budgets. What you are witnessing today is the Governor Uduaghan human capital and infrastructure agenda in action, it is the determination of the PDP led government to make life worth living for the people.”

Hon. Diden added, “DESOPADEC is out to put smiles on the faces of the people, we are out to save lives and protect properties. The oxygen plant, renovation of the police station, provision of transformers and the dredger are to make life better for our people.”
