THE wife of the Delta State Deputy Governor, Engr. (Mrs) Ebierin Otuaro has assured Deltans that they have been called to serve and move Delta State to the next and higher level, adding that she will use her profession as an engineer to boost the engineering sector in Delta State.

Engr. Otuaro, who gave the assurance while speaking to newsmen shortly after the thanksgiving service in honour of her husband and the Otuaro’s family at Believers Loveworld Ministry, a.k.a. Christ Embassy, Warri, said, in order to key into the SMART agenda of the Okowa/Otuaro administration, she will be looking at where the State is lacking in term of the engineering sector and endeavour to boost it using her profession.

The wife of the deputy governor expressed gratitude to God, saying the emergence of her husband as the deputy governor is the Lord’s doing. “I feel very glad in my heart, this is simply the day the Lord has made, we rejoice and we are glad in it. I want to assure all Deltans that we have been called to serve and we need to obey that call to service. By God’s grace, we are going to move Delta to the next and higher level, God helping us”, Engr. Otuaro stated.

She described her husband as a man who is humble and very receptive to all. According to her, “I have been calling him the executive governor of my heart long ago, I have been calling him my excellency for the past five years and I am not surprised because it is what we say that God establishes. He is a very humble man, a loving husband, a lovely father as well, a reliable man, strong, that anybody can rely on. If I had to choose again on earth, I will still choose him because he is just the best man I have ever seen on earth”.

Engr. Ebierin Otuaro used the occasion to give thanks to God for enabling her witness her 40th birthday and promised to use her time in service to God and humanity. “If it pleases God almighty in his majesty to have made me to see 40 years, I am assuring God that I am going to do more as an individual, serve my state, my people, be responsive and accessible to as many that want to see me, and heal the inner wound of as many that have desired it to be healed, as many that can pull off their garment of mourning and replace it with the garment of praise, I will be available. We are going to do greater things, God helping us”, she stated.

She assured women in the State of equal right and treatment urging them to be patient, adding that with unity, women will achieve great feat in this new administration. According to her, “What I am looking at now is to assure every woman in Delta State that every woman is equal, that we can achieve so much together. Every woman in Delta State is important, we are going to do so much together and God helping us, several projects will be granted in that wise. As many who have ideas that are useful to move Delta State forward will be welcome”, Engr. Otuaro assured.
