The patron of the National Association of Urhobo Students, Prince Alexander Igbinoba (JP) as assured Deltans that the Senator (Dr.) Okowa’s Government is on the right track of taking the State to another round of development.

Prince Igbinoba who was visibly active working day and night with the Okowa’s campaign team during the last election, said what the Governor needed now, is patience from Deltans and should never be distracted from pursing his lofty goals for the people.

The Eku High Chief from Ethiope East L.G.A. said with time, the dividends of this present regime will begin to manifest step by step, advising those who have not been empowered like himself never to be discouraged since all cannot be empowered the same time, but on a gradual note, which he said “can even be the best of appointment since everything on earth has its own time”.

He appealed to the Governor to address the failed portions of Eku-Sapele, Warri-Eku, Eku-Agbor road, Udu roads now that the rains are subsiding so that motorist and other road users can hive a sigh of relief since the roads in many parts of the State are no more motorable.

Chief Igbinoba also appealed to the Urhobo’s to speak and work with one voice so that the entire Kingdoms can achieve rapid development and never to work in disunity which has been the bane of the Urhobo people.

He said “it is only strong voice, with one mind that the people can forge ahead”, appealing that in subsequent elections; they should form the habit of featuring one particular candidate for election which all Deltans should work for, and never to be a divided house which will never take them anywhere.

Meanwhile, some Chiefs in Ethiope East who spoke with journalists at Abraka has appealed to Senator Okowa to consider Prince Igbinoba, the Urhobo Student pillar in his next appointment of persons since he worked hard for the PDP during and after the elections.
