The Legal Adviser of the People’s Democratic Party in Delta State, Barr. Bernard Odior has called on all Party Faithful to embrace oneness and avoid sowing seeds of friction among members.

He said that “the need to deepen internal democracy is sinequanone”,  even as he commended the developmental strides of Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, the Governor of Delta State in the Past one Year.

Bar. Ben  who made this call yesterday in Ozoro while speaking with newsmen said,” Governor Okowa has done well in the areas of Youth empowerment, Road construction and Rehabilitation.”

He described Delta State as a place full of vast opportunities under PDP leadership citing the presence of State Tertiary Institution with one University having three (3) campuses, Three Polytechnics, Three Colleges of Education adding that, Delta at 25 has achieved a lot even as more effort is needed to brace – up.

The Legal luminary further referred to the PDP Congress from ward Level through the LGA to State as peaceful and successful but reiterated the need for the Party faithful never to habour grudges.

He said, “Those who are not in position today should support those in office now because, those who are in office today were not there yesterday, therefore tomorrow will be the turn of others.”

He added that, where there were shortcomings on the part of those in power, there should be constructive criticism with workable solution.
