Chief Great Ogboru, Delta State Labour Party Governorship candidate

Former Secretary to Delta State Government and Labour Party’s Delta Central Senatorial candidate in next month’s elections, Obaisi Ovie Omo-Agege, has called on the Itsekiri nation to support the governorship ambition of Chief Great Ogboru, who is contesting the position on the platform of Labour Party, just as Delta State candidate of the Labour Party in the forth coming governorship election, Chief Great Ogboru has assured the Itsekiri nation of adequate attention and massive infrastructural development if elected as governor of the state in the next month’s polls.

Omo-Agege, who described Ogboru as “A man with focus, vision and preparedness to take the state to greater heights,” revealed that Ogboru, who is contesting the position for the fifth time, had been victorious in his previous contests, but had consistently been robbed of his electoral victories.

The former SSG spoke in Koko, headquarters of Warri North Local Government Area of the state during a rally of the party.

Meanwhile, the Delta State candidate of the Labour Party in the forth coming governorship election, Chief Great Ogboru has assured the Itsekiri nation of adequate attention and massive infrastructural development if elected as governor of the state in the next month’s polls.

Ogboru, who gave the assurance in Koko, headquarters of Warri North local Government Area of the state, told the Chiefs, Elders-in-Council and people of Koko Community led by the Olara-Aja (most senior man) of the community, Pa Victor Nanna to take advantage of the long time peaceful relation existing between the Urhobo and the Itsekiri to cast their votes for him at the election, adding, “I will not disappoint the Itsekiri nation. I will not disappoint you if you elect me as your governor.”
