The Delta State All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial candidate, Olorogun O’tega Emerhor has promise to establish strong industries in the state geared at revolutionizing the the economy of the state, adding that he will also build a solid bridge across the Ethiope river to ease movement of people from their farms to the town as well as to facilitate the movement of goods and services for growth of inter-communal tradition among rural traders.

Emerhor made the promise during his campaign rallies in Obiaruku, headquarters of Ukwani Local Government Area and Abraka in Ethiope East Local Government Area.

According to the APC gubernatorial candidate, his vision for the state is to build more industries that will take the huge unemployed youth off the labour market, a problem that the PDP government failed to solve in 16 years.

He promise Delta Cassava farmers that he will establish cassava milling plants in various communities across the three senatorial districts to facilitate the production and processing of cassava products for domestic consumption and for export, adding that the agricultural sector will receive priority attention if elected.

He noted that as someone who is an expert in bringing back dead industries to life, he will make sure that all moribund industries in the state are revived adding that the people cannot continue to suffer in the midst of all the oil that is coining out from their backyards.

The APC guber candidate assured the people of Ukwani that if voted into power he will boost medium and small scale industries by setting aside substantial projects funds in partnership with private investors  to take care of the business needs of women and youths who have been living in abject poverty occasioned by the poor management of Delta State financial and material resources.

He said his desire to establish strong industries in the state is to get majority of Deltans back to work so that they can be able to earn decent living. He added that Deltans are not supposed to be  living in poverty with the huge oil coming from the state.

At Ethiope East local government Area, about 200 decampees of Labour Party were received by the Delta State Chairman of APC, Prophet Jones Erue. The new entrants into the APC CHANGE FAMILY told the huge crowd that they laboured in vain in DPP and later Labour but expressed hope that APC will provide the needed quality leadership that Deltans are yearning for.

Olorogun Omerhor called on the people of Ethiopia East to vote for All the candidates of APC stressing the PDP has been confusing the State for a long time and that this is that time to kick out PDP from the State. He promised the youths that he is going provide jobs for them through empowerment programmes funds that will be set aside for them.
