A political pressure group in Delta Central known as DC 40 Okowa 2019 has moved a motion of implicit confidence on Okowa and his deputy Deacon Barr. Kingsley Burutu Otuaro for their good works in transforming the entire state in less than four years of their wonderful regime in Delta State.

The group who addressed journalists at the end of their meeting at Orerokpe in the home of their Okpe Local Government Area Coordinator, Comrade Paul Ajueshi, explained that they have resolved to return the duo of Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa and his amiable Deputy for their outstanding performance since they came on board.

They explained through their Chairman Comrade Tony Arienekhi soon after the meeting that the government of Okowa/Otuaro is very sensitive to the plight of Deltans, which have addressed virtually all the teething problems of the state, vowing that they must do all it takes to ensure they return to power come 2019.

Meanwhile, the group otherwise known as “Delta Central for Okowa” have mapped out a programme soon to come, known as “Uvwie General Assembly” with a five man committee members headed by the Coordinator of Okpe Local Government Area Comrade Paul Ajueshi with his Secretary Hon. Precious Atase coordinator of Uvwie Local Government Area including Comrade Patrick Ikogho the coordinator of Ethiope West amongst others.

The assignment of the Committee members, according to the Chairman of the group Comrade Arienekhi is to visit Uvwie Community Hall and make the place available for the programme, with its theme “Why Okowa must be return in 2019” as they have chosen Prof. Sam Oyovwaire their resource person who will delivered the topic of the day.

They added that other dignitaries in the state such as the Delta State PDP Chairman, Chief Barrister Kingsley Esiso, the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori and many other notable personalities in the state will also grace the epoch making event.

The chairman, appreciated the efforts of Comrade Patrick Ikogho, Ethiope West Coordinator, Comrade Paul Ajueshi, Okpe Coordinator, Comrade Precious Atase, Uvwie Coordinator, Mr. Wilson Enaike a serious member of the group, his Vice, Comrade Tony Emejuru, Comrade Timothy Ojigbo, Comrade Rex Taiga and other coordinators of other local government areas who were not there for the meeting for their wonderful contributions and sacrifices to ensure Okowa and Otuaro returns come 2019.

Their next meeting was slated for the home of the state PDP Chairman in Sapele, and the event ended with a closing prayer said by the Coordinator of Okpe Local Government Area whose home was used for the meeting of the day.
