The Bayelsa State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has, through its disciplinary committee, summoned eleven members of the party to appear before the committee to defend themselves over antiparty activities and other misconducts.

In a statement which was signed by the committee chairman, Hon. Cleopas Moses, and the secretary, Barr. Dede Ofulu, the members are to appear before the committee on Wednesday, 20th of May, 2015.

Those invited are: Sen. Nimi Bariye Amange, Hon. Nestor Binabo, Hon. Dimaro Deinyanbofa, Hon. Joyce Fuoyewei, Hon. Alagha Dudafa and Inaton Okolo.

Others are: Benjamin Jonathan, Apostle Otufu, Mr. Cyril Suodomowei, Hon. Chinedu Mba and Mr. Hanson Alabo.

The disciplinary committee was inaugurated by the state executive council of the party recently to instill discipline on those members of the party who sabotaged the party by playing dual party politics and also sponsoring other candidates to contest against the Peoples Democratic Party.

 

The chairman of the committee, Cleopas Moses, has asked all party faithful and the general public to submit all memoranda. Petitions and complaints, and also come to testify with all material evidence at their disposal.
