Delta State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship aspirant in 2007 general election, Chief Sunny Onuesoke has  described  Rivers State Governor, Hon Rotimi Amaechi   recent criticism of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)  on the media while assuring that the All Progressives Congress (APC) will ensure good governance as laughable.

Sunny Onuesoke

It would be recalled that the Rivers State governor, while inaugurating and handling over 22 transformers and four buses to Obio/Akpor Local Government Caretaker Committee in Rivers State through the Chief-of-Staff, Government House, Port Harcourt, Chief Tony Okocha  had urged Nigerians to vote out the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in 2015, while assuring that the All Progressives Congress (APC) will ensure good governance.

Reacting to Amaechi call in a press statement made available to our correspondent, Onuesoke   said it is ridiculous  that  Amaechi  who was a Speaker of Rivers State House of Assembly for eight years under PDP and Governor for a term and above could turn round to criticize the same party that put him in political lime light.

“When he contested   for the House of Assembly under PDP and won, the party was not a bad party. When he was a Speaker of Rivers State House of Assembly for eight years under PDP,   the party was not a bad. When he became a governor of Rivers State under the PDP before decamping to APC the party was not a bad party. Is it now he realized that PDP is a bad party and it should be voted out?” Onuesoke queried.

Onuesoke pointed out that  if PDP is a bad party as Amaechi is making Nigerians to believe that means he was also party of those who destroyed the party before he decamped to APC.

He reminded Amaechi that his senseless criticism of the President Goodluck Jonathan and  PDP  only exposes him as one who cannot be trusted because if he can so fiercely hate his own brother(the president) and a party that brought him to political limelight  just because of his selfish desires, then who can ever find in him  a true friend?

Onuesoke who described the action of Amaechi as biting the finger that fed him, advised him   to exhibit some sense of responsibility, patriotism and demystify himself to face the reality of achievements of President Goodluck Jonathan and PDP despite the odds and frustrations of the opposition.
