Comrade Sheriff Mulade

Delta state House of Assembly aspirant for Warri South West constituency, Comrade Sheriff Mulade has called on all People’s Democratic Party (PDP) members to support all PDP candidates that emerged during the just concluded primaries.
Mulade who lost out of the contest, however congratulated, Emomotimi Guwor, winner of the Warri South West constituency primary, saying “now that the primaries have come and gone it is now time to support all the candidates that emerged since we are one family.”
He encouraged all his supporters to give all the winners the same support they have given him during the campaigns, noting that all hands must be on deck to ensure that PDP becomes victorious in the coming general elections in 2019.
“The contest has come and gone and winners have emerged. I congratulate and support Guwor. Now we have somebody and we must come together and make sure we work together as one to make sure that PDP wins all the elections in 2019.
“Guwor is our own brother from Warri South-West. If we team up together, we will win the general election. And it is not just for the House of Assembly, but also for other various positions, especially the House of Representatives position.
“We still have our brother there. He is also from Kokodiagbene, Thomas Ereyitomi and others. We also have James Manager at the Senate. We have our amiable Governor, Sen.(Dr.) Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa and our brother, Kingsley Otuaro to support.
“So, we have this line up of people and as party faithful, I want to encourage all of us to support them all. I want to urge you that from now, when their train is moving, let us join them, support them to see that we win at the general election,” Mulade pleaded.
While saying that he learnt a lot as a new comer in politics, Mulade noted that though his life and that of his family were threatened at one point during the campaigns, he never gave up the fight because he believed he was fighting a good fight for his people.
Mulade stressed that his recent adventure into politics has exposed him to many people within and outside his immediate constituency, adding that he has been exposed to the intrigues that go along with politics.
“l give God all the glory for there was no life lost neither was any crisis recorded during the campaign process.Power belongs to God and it is only Him that gives power.I pray God and hope for a better tomorrow.
“In politics one must cross his heart before he ventures into politics in order to maintain his self esteem and integrity to the end. In anything you are doing make sure you are determined to do what is right no matter what. Do not step down along the race so that people will not take advantage of you in future,” Mulade noted.

He added that he did not embarked on the journey only for him to step down midway, adding that inspite of juicy offers from others, he did not accept them because he did not go into the contest to make money for himself.
“I rejected many offers because I did not want to betray the trust of my supporters. So many people have put their trust in me so I have to be careful not to lose that trust. It is because of this that I am standing here with all of you today,” Mulade added.
