2015 GENERAL ELECTIONS: GENERAL BUHARI VISITS DELTA TODAY FOR PRESIDENTIAL RALLY, TO PRESENT APC FLAG TO GUBERNATORIAL CANDIDATE – OLOROGUN O’TEGA EMERHOR.

All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR will arrive Warri, Delta State today in continuation of his nation-wide Presidential Rally. The ex-military President who has been championing the fight against corruption in Nigeria for close to two decades will be addressing a huge crowd of APC members, party leaders/Elders and supporters at the spacious Warri Stadium.

A Statement issued by the Director of Media & Political Communication to OTEGA4GOVER CAMPAIGN ORGANISATION, Dr. Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe said the rally will re-awaken the consciousness of Deltans on the absolute need to synergize and embrace the ‘TAKE OVER” slogan of the APC, deliberately crafted to end sixteen (16) years of MISRULE of the ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP) both at the National and State levels.
He further disclosed that the State party structure has concluded plans to ensure that today’s event will be second to none in the history of political mass mobilization in the state, pointing out that the response received from Deltans in the present political dispensation is overwhelming to the effect that PDP will vacate both ASO ROCK and UNITY HOUSE Asaba in a few months to come.
Dr Oghenesivbe posited that the special attraction of today’s rally will be the official presentation of the APC Party Flag to Delta State Gubernatorial Candidate, Olorogun O’tega Emerhor (OON). He further disclosed that the party governorship candidate will after today’s event, kick-off his campaign which will take him round the three senatorial districts, campaigning and having town-hall meetings with Deltans across board.
He quoted Olorogun Emerhor as saying that within one hundred (100) days in office as Governor of Delta State, the sum of N10 Billion empowerment fund will be disbursed through strategic financial institutions linked to the rural areas to serve as first installment to address the vexed issue of poverty, joblessness and frustration which has bedeviled Deltans as a result of the persistent acute corruption and bad governance of the PDP.
Today’s Presidential Rally will kick-off exactly 12 noon. Invited guests and top government functionaries are to be seated by 12:30pm, the statement added.
