A member of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Delta State, Comrade Alufa Oke Joshua, has formally resigned his membership of the party.
In a resignation letter dated May 5, 2026, and addressed to the State Chairman of the party, Alufa stated that his decision to leave the ADC was based on personal considerations.
The letter, which was routed through the Chairman of the party in Ughelli South Local Government Area, Rev. Emmanuel Omogor (JP), indicated that the resignation takes immediate effect.
Alufa, a registered member of the party in Ekakpamre Ward 7, Ughelli South, with membership card number DE-UGH-EK-185285, also requested that his name be removed from the party’s official membership register.
“I hereby formally tender my resignation from the party, effective immediately,” he wrote.
He expressed appreciation to the leadership of the ADC for the opportunity to serve as a member, while wishing the party success in its future endeavours.
The development adds to the growing list of political realignments ahead of the 2027 general elections in Delta State.
