The Chief Press Secretary to Delta State Governor, Sir Festus Ahon, has congratulated the Commissioner for Works (Rural Roads) and Public Information, Mr Charles Aniagwu, on the occasion of his birth anniversary.
Ahon, in a congratulatory message, described Aniagwu as a versatile professional whose wealth of experience in journalism, business and public service had continued to contribute to effective governance in Delta State.
He commended the commissioner for distinguishing himself through professionalism, versatility and commitment to duty throughout his career.
According to Ahon, Aniagwu’s background in journalism had equipped him with strong analytical and communication skills, enabling him to engage diverse audiences and explain government policies and programmes in a manner that was easily understood by the public.
He also noted that Aniagwu’s public speaking ability and understanding of current affairs had strengthened his effectiveness as a government spokesman and political communicator.
Ahon said the commissioner had remained a key voice in articulating and explaining the policies and programmes of the Governor Sheriff Oborevwori administration, particularly in an era when effective communication was essential to promoting public understanding of government activities.
He said Aniagwu’s ability to examine issues from different perspectives and communicate them clearly had distinguished him in his various professional engagements.
“Aniagwu has built a career that cuts across journalism, business and public service, and in each of these areas, he has demonstrated competence and an understanding of the demands of the profession,” Ahon said.
“His strength as a communicator is not only in his command of language, but also in his ability to engage issues from different perspectives and communicate them in a manner that ordinary people can understand.”
Ahon prayed God to grant Aniagwu more years in good health, fulfilment and continued service, urging him to deploy his wealth of experience and knowledge to the further development of Delta State.
