2015: Group Begs Uduaghan to Join Senatorial Race

A political pressure group, Stabilizing Factors Campaign Organization, has endorsed Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan of Delta State for the Delta South Senatorial seat in the 2015 general election.
At a press briefing in Warri at the weekend, members of the group, comprising Victor O. Agbateyiniro (General Coordinator), Barrister Jolone Ikomi (Head, Legal Department and Coordinator for Itsekiri nationality), Hon. Godwin Masah (Coordinator for Ijaw nationality), Timothy Ikede (Coordinator for Isoko nationality) and Hon. Mark Ikpure (Coordinator for Urhobo of Warri South LGA), pleaded with Governor Uduaghan to contest the February 14, 2015 National Assembly Election.
Speaking at the press briefing, General Co-ordinator, Stabilizing Factors Campaign Organization, Mr. Agbateyiniro, said after the extra-ordinary general meeting of the group on January 30th 2014 in Warri, they came to the conclusion to back the Governor for the Delta South Senatorial race
According to him; “At the January 30th 2014 extra-ordinary meeting, after a thorough consideration of the performance of Governor Uduaghan, and his three point agenda, a vote of confidence was passed on him for performing creditably well.”
Mr. Agbateyiniro added; “The several awards and laurels won by the Governor is an eloquent testimony of how he has perfectly steered the ship of the Delta State well and to the admiration of all since assumption of office May 29, 2007.”
“That with these awards and laurels won, Governor Uduaghan has not only made Delta state very proud, but has succeeded in building a stronger and more united PDP across the state. His achievements have dwarfed the opposition,” he stated.
The General Co-ordinator of the group also said; “That owing to the aforementioned, this organization hereby join millions of Deltans and the people of Delta South Senatorial District at home and in Diaspora to beg the governor to come and pick the Delta South Senatorial slot, since such hot seats are not meant for political neophyte, green horns, jobbers and hustlers.”
