Why Tony Obuh’s Guber Declaration Was Shifted To November 7
The OBUH PROJECT 2015 Team has explained why its Principal, Sir Tony Chuks Obuh’s formal declaration for the 2015 governorship race originally scheduled to hold today, October 30, 2014, was shifted.
According to a press statement signed by Mr. Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe, Political Communication Resource Person, Obuh Guber Project 2015, the declaration rally was postponed as a result of persistent pressure from support groups to be accommodated in arrangements; preparations for delegates elections. This is the truth and the only reason why the rally was reasonably shifted forward.
It stated that postponement will allow all affiliate political support groups will now have enough time to make adequate preparations; especially mass mobilization of supporters for the event which political observers believe will be the “mother of all gubernatorial declaration rallies” in Delta State, in the present political dispensation.
The statement read; “Team Obuh, on behalf of our Director-General, Chief (Barrister) Fred Okiemute Majemite, wishes to sincerely apologize for any inconveniences the change of date may have caused our teaming supporters, invitees, political associates, party faithful and supporters within and outside Delta State.
“It must be clearly stated that our Principal (Sir Obuh) is hale and hearty. He is ready more than ever before to lead the famous and popular Project 2015 movement to fruition.
“Those who think that the son of a farmer or a mere “civil servant” cannot aspire to govern our dear state should get ready for political Tsunami as Team Obuh is determined to work extremely hard to ensure landslide victory for our Principal during PDP party primaries and at the polls in 2015 without any contradictions,” it further stated.
