Itsekiri youths demand Pipeline Surveillance Contract slot from Tompolo.

High Chief Government Ekpemukpolo, the NNPC Limited Pipeline Surveillance Contractor has settled the Itsekiri nation in a meeting with the Itsekiri Apex youth body, the Itsekiri National Youths Council, INYC.
In a meeting with the leadership of the INYC at his Oporoza residence in the Escravos axis of Warri South-west Council Area of Delta State, Chief Government Ekpemukpolo a.k.a Tompolo told the Comrade Weyinmi Agbateyiniro-led exco that he subletted out 3kilometers of the pipeline surveillance contract to Ayiri Emami to cover the Ugborodo Escravos axis of Itsekiri land as agreed from Abuja.
In a communique issued at the end of an enlarged Congress of all Itsekiri youth groups held Saturday at the Ikengbuwa Primary School field in Warri, President Agbateyiniro disclosed that they held a very successful meeting with the High Chief wherein he assured that the INYC will be carried along and called for transparency as the contract is community based.
Comr. Agbateyiniro then requested all Itsekiri communities to go back home and compile all necessary documents regarding oil and gas facilities and Pipelines kilometers in their areas of coverage for onward submission to the office of the INYC for proper profiling before submission to Tompolo so as not to be shortchanged in the surveillance contract slots.
The INYC president disclosed that all Itsekiri communities would be carried along and applauded Chief Tompolo for the warm, lavish and brotherly reception accorded the INYC delegation to Oporoza.
Earlier at the Congress, immediate past president of INYC, Come. Esimaje Awani commended Agbateyiniro for his leadership qualities and transparency in the running of the affairs of the body, saying before now everything has been shrouded in secrecy.
Comr. Agbateyiniro charged Ugborodo youths to approach Ayiri Emami for their job slots just as Congress passed a vote of confidence on him for providing leadership at all times.
Itsekiri in Edo state, Okpe, Sapele, Udu, Ethiope West and the three Warri Local Government Councils are to articulate and submit all relevant statistics regarding the facilities and pipeline kilometers and others in their communities to the office of the INYC As follows; Warri south 12-13th September, Warri North 14-15th September, Warri South-West16-17th September, Edo state 19th September and Delta Central 20-21 September, 2022 respectively for proper documentation before submission to Chief Government Ekpemukpolo for adequate planning and allocation of pipeline surveillance security execution.
