Mr. Othuke Akplara an indigene of Idheze in Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State has called on the electorates of Isoko South Constituency 1to vote for suitably qualified candidates and not parties in the general election.

Hon Chief Benjamin Essien Okiemute, DTHA House of Assembly flag bearer under the All Progressives Congress (APC)

He made this call recently when the campaign train of Isoko South Constituency 1, DTHA flag bearer Hon Chief Benjamin Essien Okiemute under the All Progressives Congress (APC) platform stormed Irri, Emede and Oleh.

In his words “for accelerated growth and continuity, the electorates of Isoko South Constituency 1must not vote for party but for suitably qualified candidates with sterling leadership qualities. And if we go by those prerequisite, Essien is the best bet for the seat because he was able to attract democratic gains to us his constituents during his first tenure.

“Therefore if President Goodluck Jonathan, Senator James Manager, Hon. Leo Okuweh Ogor and others are seeking re-election, Hon. Essien’s case should not be an exception. The man is a grass root politician who knows the pains of his people in every aspect. Therefore do not give room to PDP to unseat him but wake up and defend the dividends of democracy you have enjoyed by voting for your choice candidate in the April 11 State Houses of Assembly election.”

Others who spoke in the same vein were Comr. Akpor chamberlain, Comr. Oletu Akpor, Hon Onoyona Edwin, Mr. Evi Atara, Bro. Paul Uzobo, Moses Offiemo, Amaigwe Timothy, Jacob Tina Oghoberuo and Jessica Emmanuel Uyuoyou. “If the election is going to be free and fair without rigging, Essien will definitely win. This is because he has been able to carve a niche for himself. For just a single tenure, the man has performed to the chagrin of his contenders.” Comr. Akpor chamberlain remarked.

In another development, Comr. Eziomano Inspector Azagba has described the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Candidate of Isoko South Constituency I into the Delta State House of Assembly, Barr. Mrs. Erezi Esievo as divinely ordained, “She is experienced following her track records as Commissioner for Art and Culture, DESOPADEC and recently Special Duties/ Infrastructure.

Azagba also ascribed the renovation of 18 schools, including Primary and Secondary Schools, infrastructures like the State Art and Culture Center situated in Emede waiting commissioning alongside the employment of about 100 persons into the Civil Service Commission together with the Erezi Education Trust Fund Initiative that has helped many in their academic pursuit, her magnanimity to the people of Ogbodu street in Oleh ward 2 as she donated handsomely to the repairs of their transformer as her selling point.

Banking on PDP structure in Delta State in which Isoko is not left out, Azagba enthused that, victory is sure for Esievo and all candidates of the People’s Democratic Party both at the Presidency ,Governorship and Assembly, positing that, with the campaign strategy of PDP in which Erezi has keyed into, Emede 14,000.00 votes is for Erezi and the PDP.

On their part, Lucky Obodo, Lady Akpore Oghenekome from Idheze and Mrs. Eloho Odubu of Emede are all drumming support for Esievo as their sure bet for Victory saying “The position should be rotated to Emede and as a woman, she is a better choice.”
